So I wonder if I've installed LaCie properly since when I click on the icon to open as a destination, I only get the folders,etc. I've done backups on disk- slideshows/iphoto/songs etc., and wonder why when in those applications, it doesn't recognize a destination like an external drive like if burning a disk?ĭo I need to accomplish backup in disk Utility? It is a very basic question. My question is 'How do I back up iphoto or any folder/file to an external drive'?
